Firefighters and police were called to a car blaze between Framligham and Saxmundham over the weekend.
They were called to the incident of a car off road in woodland in Sweffling just after 10pm on Saturday.
The B1119 road was closed while the fire crews tackled the blaze.
The driver and passenger in the car were taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
The fire was put out by 11.30pm and the road was reopened.
