Two Suffolk villages have been named on a list of the best honeymoon destinations in the UK.

Lavenham and Orford are among the UK's top 44 most romantic destinations. 

This list was compiled by Fabulous Bingo after collecting data for most romantic hotspots on Google Trends.

Lavenham, near Sudbury, is ranked number 17 on the list.

Here couples can enjoy one of the best preserved Medieval villages in England. 

There are many unique places to shop and stay, and towns like Bury St Edmunds are not to far away for an adventure. 

Orford ranked lower at number 32.

Couples on their honeymoon at Orford can explore the 12th Century castle, or spend the day taking in the views from a river cruise. 

Portmeirion in Gwynedd, Wales took the number one spot on the list.
