BA Boyle & Son

BA Boyle & Son is an Ipswich-based construction company, incorporated in April 2020, whose founders were formerly from BA Boyle Carpentry and Joinery, a reputable team of carpenters.

The company expanded into construction when the founders realised that their reputation meant they were receiving requests for services outside of carpentry.

Three years on, the company has grown from three people with a single van, to nine vans, 16 employed staff and over 30 permanent subcontractors.

The judges praised the business for “creating a team culture where everyone feels valued and respected”, as evidenced by the high employee retention rate. They also called the company’s overseas charity work “really impressive” and said that the team should be proud.
