From a Tom Cruise blockbuster to a much-loved musical, an outdoor cinema is coming to a stunning Suffolk setting for three nights.

Adventure Cinema is touring the country and it will be at Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich from September 1 to 3 2023.

There will be a film shown at 8.15pm each night, with the gates open from 6.45pm, which are Top Gun: Maverick on Friday, Mamma Mia! on Saturday and Pretty Woman on Sunday.

Picnics are welcome at the screenings, though no glass is allowed, with hot food and snacks also available to buy.

The grand and stately mansion, originally built in 1548, provides the perfect backdrop for a film under the stars and you can bring camping chairs and blankets.

A spokesman for Adventure Cinema said: "This season’s selection of films features something for everyone, from award-winning new releases to old-school classics and films for the whole family."

There is no on-site parking available, with guests advised to use nearby car parks or public transport.
