Residents and business workers in a village on Suffolk's border with Norfolk have paid heartfelt tributes to two cyclists and called for a road safety review after the pair were killed in a road accident.
Two men in their 30s died at the scene of the incident on the A143 Bungay Road in Billingford, near Diss and on the border between the two counties.
The fatal crash happened at 9.24pm on Sunday and involved a red Mini Cooper and two electric bicycles.
The landlady of the Billingford Horseshoes pub, near the scene of the crash, has offered her condolences and called for a review of the road speed limit.
Julie Howlett and her husband Mark took over the pub in September last year, before opening in January, and say they have seen many dangerous incidents outside her pub.
Mrs Howlett said: "It is just absolutely shocking, I am so upset for the families who are grieving in this moment, it is so terribly awful.
"We sit out here most evenings and the road is just total carnage, it is lethal, and the speed limit needs reviewing or a camera needs to go up to make change because cars fly by at stupid speeds all hours of the day.
"I have the deepest sympathies for the families, and to think it could have been my daughter hit brings a tear to my eye."
John Styles, 59, who has owned a food truck that operates in the layby opposite where the accident occurred for the past two years says the accident is "unsurprising" due to how dangerous the road is.
Mr Styles said: "Though it is awful, it to me is hardly unsurprising this has happened.
"Cars drive along this road like the clappers, and as a fellow cyclist myself, visibility is poor along this road in places, and you certainly feel vulnerable.
"I am very sorry for the families who have lost loved ones and I offer my condolences."
Another resident, Carol Batley, who has lived in her home on the A143, near where the accident happened since 1973, says the road is "treacherous" and gets worse and worse each year.
She said: "This road is so treacherous and I certainly think that action should be taken after this tragedy.
"I am shaken and so sad about the incident and offer my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost a loved one.
"I hope something is done to slow cars down along this stretch of road."
A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has been released on bail until November 24.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or either vehicle prior to the collision and are particularly keen to speak to any motorists who may have relevant dashcam footage.

Just two weeks ago, about 10 miles down the A143 at Billingford in the direction of Bungay, a woman was killed in a police chase.
The female occupant of the Nissan vehicle, understood to be Aisatou Mballow-Baldeu, a woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash shortly after 4.30pm on Sunday, August 13.
The men in the Land Rover were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and questioned by police after being treated for injuries they had received.
Both men have subsequently been charged and appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court.
Jablonski, of Mutfordwood Lane, Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while driving with no insurance and while driving while disqualified.
