A husband has paid tribute to his "soul mate" after his wife was killed in a crash with a Land Rover that was being pursued by police.

The crash happened at about 4.30pm on Sunday, August 13 when a Land Rover Defender and a Nissan Juke crashed on the A143 near the Old Harleston Road junction close to Earsham, near Bungay.

Her husband Bocar said: “Aisa was my wife, my best friend, and my soul mate. We had so many plans for our future together that now, we will not be able to fulfil, and this is something I’m still struggling to come to terms with.

"Aisa will be missed by so many people.

"Our families, friends and I will forever keep her in our hearts and remember the beautiful and vibrant person we love and cherish.”

Marcin Jablonski, 43, and his son, Thomas Urbaniak, 26, have both been charged following the crash involving the £90,000 Land Rover Defender - which was being pursued by police at the time.

Jablonski, of Mutfordwood Lane, Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while driving with no insurance and while driving while disqualified.

He has also been charged with aggravated vehicle taking of the £90,000 Land Rover at Newmarket on Friday, August 11 and criminal damage, namely to £6,000 worth of crops.

Urbaniak, from Newmarket, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking.

The case was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on September 14 by chair of the bench, Anita Hennington.

The incident was referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct by Norfolk and Suffolk police forces, as is standard procedure for deaths where officers may have been present.
