A police hunt is underway for a suspect after a man was stabbed three times.
Emergency services were called to an incident in Cowdray Avenue in Colchester at 7.15am on Saturday, August 19.
Upon arrival officers found a man had been seriously assaulted and had been stabbed three times.
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and how now since been released.
A spokesman for Essex Police said officers have carried out extensive enquiries at the address and surrounding areas to identify a suspect and establish the facts of the incident.
They are now appealing for information from the public.
Anyone who has any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage is being asked to contact Essex Police quoting incident 293 of August 19.
