The actor also starred in The Lady and the Van alongside Dame Maggie Smith and, most recently, This is Going to Hurt with Ben Whishaw.

Jennings will be performing as part of Suffolk's SHAKE festival, celebrating the work of William Shakespeare in a range of locations in the Suffolk seaside town, including Aldeburgh Cinema and Jubilee Hall. It was held in Halesworth until 2022.

Several big names have performed at the festival in the past, including Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens in 2021.

"I’m really happy our festival has found a new home at Aldeburgh,” said Jenny Hall, artistic director of SHAKE.

"Benjamin Britten began the Aldeburgh Festival here, and the whole town seems interested in music, film, poetry and the performing arts."

Other big names include sculptor Laurence Edwards, who created the Yoxman statue on the A12, Dame Janet Suzman Annabel Ardena and Sir Stanley Wells.
