Two restaurants in Suffolk have been shortlisted for the 'Oscar of the curry world'.
Chequers Indian Lounge in Ipswich and Easy Tiger have both received nominations in the Asian Curry Awards 2023.

Chequers Indian Lounge in Stowmarket Road in Ipswich is a multi-award winning restaurant serving seasonal dishes with ingredients sourced locally.
Their menu features Indian cuisines staples like samosas, tandoori and masala curries.
Easy Tiger in Newgate in Beccles describes itself as an Asian kitchen exploring new creations inspired by Thai and Asian cuisine.
Their menu includes beed rendang, yakitori and sesame noodles.
Voting is currently open on the Asian Curry Award website.
