The trial of a 27-year-old man accused of causing the death of a student by careless driving on the A14 is due to get underway at Ipswich Crown Court on Monday.
Nissan Nazarudeen is accused of causing the death of Amal Prasad Sandhya by driving a Toyota Corolla Verso without due care and attention on the A14 at Creeting St Mary on April 2 2021.
Mr Sandhya was a front seat passenger in the Toyota Corolla when it was involved in the collision at around 4.50am.
The 25-year-old from Norwich, who was born in India, suffered fatal injuries, and died at the scene at 5.15am.
Nazarudeen, of The Grange Road, Thetford, and another passenger in the car suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the lorry was unharmed.
The trial is expected to last two days starting from October 2.
