Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran has predicted that Ipswich Town will get automatic promotion this season.
While answering questions on his Instagram page Sheeran, who is the Blues' main shirt sponsor, said the Blues are having a "pretty good season".
Responding to the question 'Are Ipswich going up?' he said: "We are having a pretty good season, aren't we?
"I reckon automatic promotion and Premier League football next year."
Town currently sit second in the Championship with 21 points after eight games.
The Shape of You singer has been spotted at a number of games at Portman Road in recent years.
He was seen in his box watching on as Town beat Wycombe Wanderers in April.
In June 2021 Sheeran also hosted a live show at Portman Road that was streamed around the world on the social media platform TikTok.
The Blues face 17th-place Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
