An east Suffolk hotel and spa has unveiled new facilities, including a regional first, after it was taken over by new management.

Seckford Hall has revealed its new Spa Garden retreat, which includes an outdoor ice bath, sauna, hot tubs, loungers and fire pits, to the public, having opened for booking on October 1.

It follows investment from hotel brand Heritage Rocks, which also owns Woodhall Manor in Suffolk.

"We are delighted to have been joined by Alex Collins, our new Director of Health and Wellness, benefiting from her wealth of experience and high regard in the spa industry, working with resorts like the Belfry."

New treatments at the spa include an innovative LED light treatment, a first for the region.

The hotel also welcomed Fred Sirieix from First Dates recently, who was praised for his interaction with staff members.
