Law firm Attwells Solicitors has received the Customer Excellence Award, sponsored by Greater Anglia, at the EADT Business Awards 2023.

With offices in Ipswich, Colchester and London, Atwells Solicitors provides legal services throughout Suffolk, Essex and the city. It specialises in conveyancing in particular, working to help clients through an often stressful time.

In the past few years, the business has received several accolades from Feefo, an independent customer review platform, including its Platinum Trusted Service Award for 2023. Its Colchester office also reached 100 five-star reviews on Google this year.

The business has robust plans in place to help it continue to grow, with monthly and quarterly growth targets to achieve.

The judges called Attwells “a very worthy winner of the Customer Excellence Award”. They felt that the team’s commitment to “capturing client reviews” and using these to win new business was impressive and said that they were “clearly well-deserving of Feefo’s Platinum Award for customer excellence”.

The business is dedicated to supporting young people in a career in law, with the judges adding that “it was good to see the use of apprentices in the business and the grants on offer to staff”.

When asked how it felt to receive the award, Attwells Solicitors founder Nick Attwell said: “It means a huge amount. As a founder with my name above the door, to be able to win the Customer Excellence Award means everything to me.”

He added that providing great customer service consistently with a team of 60 “means a huge amount”.

“It’s all about the team and it’s all about delivering it time and time again,” he added.

Looking ahead to the company’s future, partner Lloyd Clarke said that Attwell’s aim is “to build upon what we’ve already achieved and how to innovate our customer experience a bit more”.

He added that customer service “is at the centre of everything we do” and that this continues to be “a differentiator against our competitors”.
