A man was taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to a serious crash on the A14 in mid Suffolk.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision, involving a car and a motorbike, on the eastbound carriageway near junction 51 for Coddenham, near Needham Market, at about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The air ambulance was also called to the crash.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a man was taken to hospital after suffering "numerous broken ribs".
The road reopened at about 6pm.
