Orbit Homes will construct the 40 new houses in a development on Old Stowmarket Road, Woolpit.
All of the homes will be affordable as the housebuilder has received funding from the Homes England Strategic Partnership.

Ray Winney, regional managing director for Orbit Homes, said: "We are delighted to develop these new homes and create a thriving new community in Suffolk.
"This is our third direct build development in the area, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality affordable homes in the East."
Construction of the houses is anticipated to start in 2024, with work expected to be done in 2026.
