A man accused of murdering a 37-year-old outside a home in a Suffolk village has appeared at magistrates court.
Jay Cotterill, 42, of Ipswich Avenue in Sutton Heath, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning accused of murdering 37-year-old Richard Hunt on Sunday evening.
He has also been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm in connection with an assault on a woman which is also said to have happened on Sunday night.
The defendant did not enter a plea at Suffolk Magistrates Court but will appear at Ipswich Crown Court later today for a further hearing.
