Fans of fondue, Glühwein and schnapps will be delighted that a bar inspired by those found in the Alps is opening in a Suffolk town.
Tide Bar is set to open at Whisstocks Square in Woodbridge on Friday, October 20, and plans to bring the atmosphere of a ski resort to the far less snowy climate of Suffolk.
The apres ski bar will offer traditional raclette and fondue meal options with all the usual accompaniments - potatoes, pickled onions, cornichons, baby corn and charcuterie meats.

Visitors to the bar between 6pm and 10pm on opening night will be able to enjoy some freebies, as well as traditional beers, wines and Schnapps available to purchase fro the bar.
Dancing in your ski boots is also encouraged, no matter the lack of snow.
After the launch event on October 20, Tide Bar will be open on Thursday and Friday nights, from 5pm to 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday nights from 12pm to 6pm.
