One lane of the A12 was blocked and a person suffered minor injuries after a two-car crash.
Police were called to the collision on the southbound carriageway near East Bergholt at about 11.15am on Monday.
Both lanes were initially blocked.
The road has now reopened.
One person is believed to have suffered minor injuries, according to a Suffolk police spokesman.
