A woman was rescued from a Suffolk river in the early hours of this morning.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Cross Street in Sudbury at about 1am on Wednesday after reports of a person in the water.
The woman was rescued by firefighters and transported into the care of the ambulance service.

A stop time was called at 2.05am.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "The woman was transported to the West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
