Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30pm to 9.30pm

Only a few strides away from the pebble beach along the Suffolk coast, Sea Spice offers some of the 'finest Indian cuisine'. 

The menu includes tandoori, biryani, and homemade naan bread. 

Some reviewers have noted the "excellent offer of gluten-free options". 

If you don't fancy dining in the restaurant then a takeaway option is also offered. 

2. Orissa

Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday from 5pm until 10.30pm 

Orissa has been serving 'authentically prepared Indian cooking' with a slight twist since 2009. 

The eat-in and takeaway menus feature spicy popcorn pakora, Mumbai murg masala, and classic side dishes such as saag aloo.

Opening hours on weekends are slightly different with Fridays and Saturdays open until 11.30pm, and Sundays closing earlier at 10pm.

Ballingdon Valley aims to give you a glimpse of India and its rich cuisine.

4. Cinnamon

Opening hours: Wednesday to Monday from 5pm to 11pm

Cinnamon in Leiston serves 'authentic curry dishes' as part of its imaginative menu. 

Their tandoori dishes are marinated in yogurt and a variety of spices, before being grilled in a clay oven and served on a sizzler. 

The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays except for special occasions. 

5. Rose and Mango

This Newmarket restaurant offers 'authentic Indian cuisine'. 

There is a tasting menu for £32.99 featuring a range of starters, mains and desserts such as tandoori pineapple for you to try. 

Rose and Mango recently won a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award.

6. Chequers Indian Lounge

7. Blue Naan

Opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays is 4.30pm until 10.30pm, with Sundays open from 3.30pm to 9.30pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
