The opening date for a new café in Bury St Edmunds has been revealed. 

Quality Eats will be opening in Lawson Place on the Moreton Hall estate in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday, October 25. 

Owner Danie Curd said opening her first-ever store is "an absolute dream come true".

"It's been exciting and daunting," said Danie, "It sounds like I'm going to have a queue out the door before I've even opened".

The new store will replace The Coffee House which announced its closure after 13 years last month.

It will be open 8am to 3pm from Wednesday to Saturday with special pre-book-only events such as afternoon tea and themed events taking place on a Sunday. 

Danie and her family have spent the last month renovating the space to prepare for opening day. 

"I've got a red ribbon to cut at 8am on Wednesday," said Danie, "I'm just so grateful for my family".

Quality Eats will start with a loyalty card offer on drinks with the tenth drink free once you've collected enough stamps.
