Roads have been left impassable and villagers are stranded due to flooding caused by Storm Babet. 

Suffolk has been hit with torrential downpours overnight, which have continued into Friday morning. 

Rural roads have been hit the hardest and have been left impassable due to the volume of flooding.

Villagers in Hundon, in west Suffolk, are unable to leave their homes due to water gushing down the country lanes. 

Video from resident Denise Hewett shows Lower Road in the village has been blocked entirely due to flooding. 

A yellow weather warning remains in place for the entire county until 6am on Saturday. 

Red flood alerts have issued for a number of Suffolk rivers, while firefighters are dealing with a number of flooding incidents.
