The weather caused significant disruption across the region, with schools forced to shut and roads left impassable.

A major incident was declared in Suffolk.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across the county and a yellow weather warning for wind along the coast, which is in effect until 12pm on Saturday.
