An arrest has been made after a woman was allegedly seen "repeatedly" abusing her dog she was walking in a Suffolk town.
The woman was arrested in College Street in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday on suspicion of animal cruelty.
According to Bury St Edmunds police, she was seen to "repeatedly abuse a dog she was walking".

The woman was arrested a short while later, while the dog was also seized.
"The suspect has been interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries," a spokesman for Suffolk police added.
Police will continue to look after the dog.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/61840/23.
