Reydon will have 220 homes built by 2029 as a housing development has been planned for the coastal Suffolk village.

Copperwheat Avenue will be the location of the new builds, which will comprise of 44 affordable rent houses, 74 shared-ownership properties and 84 market sale houses, as well as 11 self-build plots and seven coastal-erosion replacement properties.

A choice of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes will be available.

The work is set to begin in 2025 and the development is expected to take four years to finish. 

Orbit Homes is the company behind the build and is one of the largest builders of affordable homes in the UK, with nine new-build sites already across East Anglia.
