A dog owner was attacked by a man who demanded he gave him his pet.
Suffolk police is appealing for witnesses to the assault, which took place at a home in Rickinghall, south of Diss.
A man let his dog, a French bulldog, into the garden at about 6.40am on Wednesday, October 25.
The victim then spotted a stranger in his garden who said he wanted the dog.

A scuffle broke out and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 30 and 33, 6ft tall and of a stocky build with a ginger beard.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black tracksuit, black Nike trainers and flat cap with a chipboard front.
