A Sudbury care home has been taken over by a rapidly expanding healthcare brand that originated in the county.

Catchpole Court Nursing Home, in Walnut Tree Lane in the town, has been purchased by Kingsley Healthcare, which now owns 36 care homes all over the country, including Hadleigh Nursing Home and Woodbridge Lodge Care Home elsewhere in Suffolk.

The company has also just taken on St Mary’s Care Home, near Norwich, in Norfolk, and both this home and Catchpole Court have added about 100 beds to the Kingsley portfolio.
