A Suffolk tourist attraction has announced it is shut today due to the forecasted high winds.

While the county is set to avoid the full force of Storm Debi, Suffolk will face winds of more than 40mph.

As a result, Sutton Hoo has closed due to the impending forecast on Monday.

"Unfortunately we're closed today due to the high winds in the forecast from Storm Debi, but we hope to reopen as soon as we can," a spokesman for the National Trust site said on social media.
