A hair salon crowned the best in Suffolk has been left delighted by the multiple wins in this year's industry awards. 

Lipstick and Locks in Sudbury opened in 2019 and has won many accolades in the Salon Awards for 2023.

This year this business won four awards in the Suffolk region including 'best salon' and 'best colour salon'. 

"We've already got the awards up on display," said Leonie Bradford, assistant manager at Lipstick and Locks in Sudbury.

Lipstick and Locks has four salons in Suffolk and Essex with locations in Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree and Halstead. 

The owner of the business Abi Cutter is also delighted by the wins.

"I am thrilled that my Sudbury team won best salon in Suffolk and I'm excited for what the next year brings," said Abi.

"The salon keeps going from strength to strength," said Leonie.

"Our customers are so loyal, we aren't really seeing any slow times despite the rise in the cost of living".

Kelsey Perry was named 'colourist of the year' in Suffolk whilst Megan Tuck won 'stylist of the year' for Suffolk. 

Five other salons in Suffolk also won awards in categories such as 'most sustainable salon' and 'best salon team'.
