Two people have been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash which blocked a west Suffolk road for several hours.

Officers were called to the collision on the A1065 in Eriswell, near to the junction of the B1112, at about 4.30pm on Thursday.

The road was blocked while emergency services attended the incident. 

A spokesman for Suffolk police has confirmed two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

Recovery for the vehicles was completed by 7pm.
