Police are searching for a driver who they believe could have witnessed a serious collision on the A14 on Monday, November 20. 

The crash involved a black Ford Fiesta and a black Vauxhall Astra and took place at about 6.40am on Monday, November 20.

It happened on the eastbound carriageway between the A1120 junction at Stowmarket and the A140 junction at Coddenham.

One man sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in a serious condition.

Another driver was arrested at the scene by police on suspicion of drug driving and has since been released under investigation.

Now, Suffolk police is looking for the driver of a red Audi A1 who officers believe may have witnessed the crash.

The owner of the Audi, or anyone who knows who the driver is, is asked to contact Suffolk police.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/67303/23.
