A pub in east Suffolk has been named among the favourite unspoilt pubs in towns and countryside.
The Kings Head in Laxfield, near Halesworth, has been chosen as part of the 'cream of the crop' by the Good Pub Guide.

The guide describes the venue: "Known locally as the Low House, this time-capsule of a pub has been little altered during the 400 years of its existence and still serves its ales direct from the cask."
"There's no bar counter: the helpful staff potter in and out of a cellar tap bar to pour your pints."
In January 2020, the community interest company running the pub received £10,000 in lottery funding for repairs to its thatched roof.
The pub was owned by the community but was bought by Marie and Gareth Clarke in April 2023.
Last year the pub was granted a Grade II listing.
As well as serving food and drink, there are also three rooms available to stay in located in the Old Stables.
The rooms overlook the pub and the surrounding village and church.
