One of Suffolk's biggest weekly Christmas markets is set to close this weekend for 2023 after a really "successful" year.

The Christmas Craft Fair at Blackthorpe Barn, located at the heart of the Rougham Estate, is a top festive destination for those looking to buy one-off gift items.

The fair unites about 50 makers and sellers from across Suffolk for numerous weekends of trading - this year starting from November 4.

Now, after six weeks of trading, the Christmas fair is set to close on Sunday, December 10.

"It’s been a very successful year, with visitor numbers increasing week on week and a fantastic atmosphere," owner George Agnew said.

"The makers and exhibitors have thoroughly enjoyed it too and will be coming back next year.

"Some visitors may not be expecting the craft fair to finish this weekend but due to how Christmas falls, we’ve had to push it back a week, this year.

"If any visitors want to attend, this weekend will be the last of 2023 and it’s been another brilliant year."

Those visiting the market will be able to enjoy food from both Roots, the new on-site cafe, as well as some of Suffolk's most popular street food vendors.

The craft fair will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, with tickets available to purchase on the estate.
