A new bakery has opened in an east Suffolk town, promising to be an 'upmarket Greggs'.
Rosie's Coffee Lounge has opened today in the premises formerly occupied by the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Leiston High Street.
Owner Frances Newsome is promising a "welcoming atmosphere".

She said the bakery would be offering drinks to takeaway and drink in, along with a variety of foods including home-made gateau, salt beef bagels, home-made pickles, sauerkraut, lasagne and beef stew.
Mrs Newsome said the family had been in business for 40 years and used to run a model village in Great Yarmouth, as well as businesses in the north east, while her sons currently operate a newsagents in South Shields near Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

On Friday, she said: "It is going to be an upmarket Greggs. We are going to be opening tomorrow and we have got equipment arriving today.
"This is our own operation so it is going to sell lovely things at reasonable prices really."
