A road that suffered significant flooding is to remain closed for several more days.
Suffolk Highways has been working on repairing the drainage issues around Suffolk following the effects of the storms that have battered the county over the last few months.
The B1069 Woodbridge Road through Tunstall was also closed for drainage work, with initial plans suggesting that it would reopen today, Wednesday, December 13.
However, Suffolk Highways posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday afternoon that the main road through Tunstall will remain closed for several more days as the work is taking longer than initially anticipated.
Due to additional drainage repairs required, the work detailed below has been extended until 15 December 2023.

The road was flooded and impassable during Storm Ciarán and has flooded several times since.
Two diversions are in place which either take drivers along the B1069, A1094, A12, B1078 and vice versa, or the B1069, B1084, B1078 and vice versa.
Suffolk Highways has apologised for the inconvenience.
