Hundreds of homes near Sudbury were without electricity following a power cut.
Properties and businesses in Long Melford, Stanstead, Lavenham and surrounding villages were hit by an outage at about 4pm on Thursday.
A total of 522 homes were affected by the power cut.
Initially, more than 1,000 customers were disrupted according to UK Power Networks.
Power was expected to be restored between 6pm and 7pm.
