Ipswich Town fans gave the Norwich City team bus and Canaries owner Delia Smith a rousing reception as they arrived at Portman Road ahead of today's derby clash.

Flares and a beer can struck Delia Smith's grey BMW as she arrived at the stadium.

Celebrity chef Smith, who lives in Suffolk, was said to have been shaken by the incident as she arrived at Portman Road before the game, the first East Anglian derby in nearly five years.

The Portman Road car park was protected by a police escort.
