An east Suffolk restaurant has closed indefinitely just two months after new owners took over the business.
Halesworth locals have been speculating on social media about the cause of the sudden closure of Edwards, a restaurant in The Thoroughfare in the town.
No announcement was made, the business has changed its opening hours to "permanently closed" on Saturday, December 16.

The owner of Edwards has now confirmed that the closure is due to poor health.
The owner told this newspaper: "It’s due to illness I’m afraid.
"I’m very sorry for the closure and I appreciate the support the community gave us.
"Hopefully someone who has the time will take over soon."
Edwards changed ownership in October after the previous owners, who had run the restaurant for 16 years, sold the business.
Now the shop will remain empty until some new owners are found to fill the space.
