The end of the year is almost upon us and there are many different ways to celebrate and see in the start of 2024.

1. Sunday Lunch at Hintlesham Golf Course

With the last day of the year falling on a Sunday, one way to celebrate it is with the last roast dinner of 2023.

Enjoy a Sunday lunch at the clubhouse and choose from either two courses or three.

2. New Year's Eve at The Bell

Cost: £90 per person

Celebrate in style and enjoy champagne and canapes as you arrive at The Bell Hotel.

Enjoy a four course dinner followed by coffee and petit fours to finish.

The menu includes salmon ravioli, a sirloin steak and a dark chocolate fondant. 

3. New Year Family Disco

Where: Hatfield Hotel, The Esplanade, Lowestoft, NR33 0QG

Cost: £10 per adult and children go free

Bring the whole family to celebrate the end of 2023 together. 

Entertainment at the party includes family games and quizzes with Chica DJ.

The event starts at 7pm.

4. NOW! That's What I Call.... DRAG!

Where: Hunter Club Bar & Venue, Saint Andrew's Street South, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3PH

Cost: £15 per person

Dress up in glitz and glam and be entertained with lip-synching, camp comedy, and audience games. 

The show will start East Anglian drag stars Knuckle Sandwich and Will Power. 

The ticket includes a glass of prosecco on arrival and the bar will be open during the show.

5. New Year at Retreat East

Where: Brick Kiln Farm, Sandy Lane, Hemingstone, IP6 9QE

Cost: £145 per person

Begin the evening with a toast to new beginnings before dining on a four course meal in The Great Barn. 

Peter Hepworth will play live music during the feast before a DJ takes over to dance the night away. 

The menu includes carrot pastrami and roasted pheasant.
