The emergency services were called to a Suffolk village this morning to reports that a car had come off the road.

Suffolk Police was sent to the incident on the B1069 at Tunstall, near Dunningworth Hall, at 8.47am on Monday (January 1).

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service also sent crews from Orford and Saxmundham, who then left the scene at 9.17am.

Dashcam footage captured by Lindsay Clubb shows a car on its side in the marshy ground close to the road.

Fortunately, there were no injuries in the incident.

The road was closed in both directions while recovery of the vehicle took place, but this is now showing as open again on traffic maps.
