Fire crews are responding to emergencies around the county as flooding continues to trap cars in Suffolk.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue were called at around 9.05am today (Friday, January 5) to reports of a man stuck in a vehicle in deep flood water in Upend, near Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
A spokesman for the service said that the crews rescued a 57-year-old man from his vehicle.

Two crews attended the scene, both from Newmarket, and the man had been rescued by around 9.50am.
The B1063 in Lidgate is now impassable due to the flooding in the area.
