A community has rallied around a couple whose home has been hit by flooding five times in the space of three months.
Charlotte Burch and her partner's home in Foxglove Avenue, Needham Market, was hit by extreme floods on October 20 during Storm Babet.
Since then, the pair have witnessed their home flood five times – the latest of which happened on Thursday evening amid a deluge of rain in Suffolk.
"I looked out the window and it was just coming through our fence again. It came flooding through." said Ms Burch.
"The only thing different this time, that we have been able to put in place, was we had a builder come round and we have a tunnel put through our garage.
"We have managed to divert as much as we could away from coming through our patio doors and going through our garage.
Needham Market has been one of the worst affected areas in Suffolk since the torrential Storm Babet hit several months ago, with several streets left impassable and houses flooded.
However, the community – through the use of social media – has come to the aid of Ms Burch and her family.
She added: "I put it on Facebook and the amount of people that don't even know us, they turned up and helped. It is lovely to know that Needham is a place where we come together when in need.
"They were here until the early hours of the morning, just trying to stop it coming into the house.
"It did come halfway through our lounge again, but with people coming and helping we were able to stop it there.
"It is nowhere near as bad. If we didn't have this tunnel put in our garage we would have been back to square one.
