A huge pothole that opened up in a Suffolk village is set to be repaired. 

The pothole, in Ipswich Road in Debenham, was first reported to Suffolk Highways on December 28.

Pictures show it has been left filled with water, while a cone has been placed in the road to alert drivers.

According to Suffolk Highways' reporting tool, it has been reported to the authority 10 times. 

A spokesman for Suffolk Highways said it will be repaired on Friday, January 9.
