A 24-year-old who has launched a new café and shop said she hopes it will become a "second home" for people in the west Suffolk village.
Rengin Dogan opened the doors to The Deli in Holmsey Street in Beck Row, near Mildenhall, on January 8 ahead of a grand opening planned for February 3.
The recent graduate, whose dad owns Anatolia Kebab House which is a firm favourite in the village, said: "We posted on Facebook about two years ago asking what the village wanted and needed and this was sort of an average of all of the ideas that people commented.
"Everyone has said that this is exactly what the village needs.
"A lot of people who can't drive or if there are no buses they can't go for a nice snack or a coffee, but now with this shop they can.
"They have said it is exactly what was missing from the village."
The Deli sells cakes and coffee, with the option to sit down in the in-store seating area, as well as other snacks and drinks including some from America, Thailand and Japan.
Miss Dogan said so far the cinnamon buns have been the most popular seller.
She said: "The coffee here is sold by Nude Coffee, who are really big in Brick Lane in Shoreditch.
"The cakes are from Cakesmiths in Bristol and they deliver them daily so they are all really fresh"
Ms Dogan said she has been surprised by how good the response has been since she served her first customers.
"I had a customer in who said it is so nice and cosy and feels like a second home, and that is what I want to be able to give," she said.
