An east Suffolk pub has seen its roast dinner named among the best in the UK.

Chefs from across the country were asked to select their favourite spots for a delicious Sunday lunch by national newspaper The Times.

The Unruly Pig in Bromeswell, near Woodbridge, has been chosen by a London-based chef as one of the best in the country.

Bancone executive chef Ben Waugh praised the restaurant's "exceptional" cooking.

Writing in the guide, he said: “Large cuts of meat cooked over fire served with generous sides, carved and served to share for the table.

"You could sit there for hours with a bottle or two of red from the well-thought-out wine list.”
