A car park has been partially closed following the discovery of an unexploded shell.
Suffolk Police said the munitions were found in Alderton recreation ground and the area near the pavilion has been cordoned off.
The cordon will remain in place until tomorrow when the shell will be "dealt with" by military bomb disposal teams.
It is currently unknown what time the disposal will be carried out.
More to follow.
