A pub on the Suffolk coast is reopening later this week after a temporary closure.

The Lord Nelson pub in Southwold closed for cellar maintenance on Monday, January 15.

The pub is one of five owned by Adnams in the coastal town.

Other pubs include The Swan, The Sole Bay, The Crown and The Harbour Inn.

Once reopened the pub will go back to its focus on the "perfect pint", lively conversation and a enjoyable atmosphere.

On Fridays and Saturdays it offers Black Dog Deli Pizzas for a relaxed pint and pizza.

A spokesman for the pub said the pub will be reopening this Friday.
