Two Suffolk restaurants have been named among the top 100 in the UK for 2024. 

The list by SquareMeal is compiled from a combination of its in-house critic opinions and thousands of diner votes.

Lark in Bury St Edmunds was ranked 39th on the list.

Opened in February 2023, Lark serves seasonal, local ingredients across a selection of small plates for the whole table.

The restaurant has been named among many prestigious guides, including The Good Food Awards, and was added to the Michelin guide last November. 

The Suffolk in Aldeburgh was ranked 85th in the top 100 list. 

Only a stones throw away from the Suffolk coast, the restaurant uses local suppliers for the menu which regularly changes throughout the year.

There are also rooms to stay in for those wanting to escape to the seaside.
