Twenty-five villages on the Suffolk and Essex border are set to be hit by roadworks over the coming months.
Anglian Water will be carrying out a series of closures as part of work to build the Bury St Edmunds to Colchester pipeline.
The water company is currently constructing a 69km pipeline across the area, with the main part of the work starting in early 2024.
As part of this, a number of roadworks have been planned.
Closures will commence this weekend in Bury Road in Brockley and Hadleigh Road in Raydon.
From Monday, January 29, roadworks will be taking place in Brettenham's Buxhall Road, Darkings Lane in Felsham, Brands Lane in Hawstead, Brands Lane in Lawshall, Higham Road in Raydon and Tuffields Road in Whepstead.
Work has already taken place in Rede, although it will commence again in Kiln Lane on Monday, February 19.
Date for closures in Belstead, Boxted, Chattisham, Great Horkesley, Hitcham, Nedging-with-Naughton, Thorpe Morieux are yet to be confirmed.
