Staff at a Lowestoft area building company are celebrating after scooping a major national industry award.

MG Builders (East Anglia) Ltd, based on Wolseley Business Park on Mobbs Way in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft won the Best Residential and Small Commercial Builder category at a prestigious national awards ceremony.

With decades of experience in the construction industry, the Lowestoft firm were first nominated for the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards in February 2023 by East Suffolk Council Building Control.

This led them to attend the regional contest last year, where they beat more than 70 companies from across East Anglia to progress to the national finals.

And at the prestigious national finals held in London’s Mayfair, MG Builders were thrilled to lift the 'Best Residential and Small Commercial Builder' category at the LABC building excellence awards grand final.
